Beauty: Favorites of the Summer! (so far :)

Hey guys! So yes, this is my first blog post. How exciting! I can't wait to share makeup and fashion tips, ideas, and everything in between! I am going to start off with a pretty basic post so that I can get a feel for this whole blog thing (I know, I am behind on the times. These days it feels like everybody has a blog) Lets get started!

My Beauty Favorites of Summer 2012

1. Elf Eyelid Primer ($1, drugstores)
I love this primer! It goes on smoothly, evens out the skin color on your eye, and lasts for hours! It is definitely a steal!

2. Covergirl Perfect Point Plus Eyeliner Pencil in Espresso ($6.49, drugstores)
I have been using this eyeliner pencil since I started wearing makeup. It creates a natural look, stays for hours, and is the perfect price. Enough said.

3.  Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze ($6.99, drugstores)
The beauty world has been buzzing about these ever since they came out, and for a good reason! These cream shadows are highly pigmented and perfect parts creamy and solid.

4. Maybelline Eyeshadow Palette in Sunbaked Neutrals ($8.79 , drugstores)
This palette is the most versatile palette I have come across in the drugstore for a long time. While most of the shadows are neutrals, two shadows are green, adding a pop of color to this otherwise basic palette. The shadows featured in this product are gorgeous. Just gorgeous!

5. Sally Hansen Vita-B Lip Moisturizer ($4.99, drugstores)
I love this lip product to death! It is caught somewhere between a balm and a gloss, which I love! Hands down, best lip balm of the summer!
